Ingredients:
8 oz (about 225g) vermicelli pasta
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
1/4 cup fresh parsley leaves, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
Grated Parmesan cheese (optional for serving)
Instructions:
Cook the Vermicelli: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the vermicelli pasta and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain the pasta and set aside.

Season to Taste: Season the pasta with salt and pepper to taste. Remember that Parmesan cheese is salty, so go easy on the salt if you plan to add cheese later.
Serve: Transfer the herbed tomato vermicelli pasta to serving plates. If desired, sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese before serving.
