Fish in lemon cream sauce recipe:
Ingredients:
4 fish fillets (such as tilapia, cod, or halibut)
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
Zest of 1 lemon
Juice of 1 lemon
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions:
Season both sides of the fish fillet with salt and pepper to taste.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
Once the oil is hot, add the fish fillets to the skillet. Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side or until the fish is cooked and quickly flakes with a fork. Remove the fish from the skillet and set aside.
Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute in the same skillet or until fragrant.
Pour in the heavy cream, lemon zest, and lemon juice. Stir well to combine.
Allow the sauce to simmer for 2-3 minutes or until it thickens slightly.
Return the cooked fish fillets to the skillet, spooning the lemon cream sauce over the top.
Cook for 1-2 minutes, allowing the fish to soak up some of the sauce.
Sprinkle chopped parsley over the fish and sauce just before serving.
Serve the fish with the lemon cream sauce spooned over the top. You can serve it with your sides, such as steamed vegetables, rice, or crusty bread.
