Lynette Diamond Hardaway, one of the two sisters of the duo, “Diamond and Silk” passed away at the age of 51. Donald Trump announced her death on Truth Social, on Monday evening, following which it was confirmed on the sibling’s social media accounts. The cause of her death is not mentioned. Earlier, there had been a social media post asking fans to pray for her, in November.
The sisters-duo of Diamond and Silk gained notoriety when they became among the most vocal supporters of former president Trump, in his 2016 campaign. Their political comments appeared on YouTube and other social media platforms.
There is a GiveSendGo page set up for the conservative commentator–Diamond. It has a message that describes her as “a True Angel and Warrior Patriot for Freedom, Love and Humanity” and more.
Former president Donald Trump wrote a long post praising Diamond. He called her their “beautiful Diamond” and more. He also said that her sister Silk had been with her, all the way, when she passed away in her home, in North Carolina.
Trump concluded his post on his site saying that “Diamond’s death was totally unexpected, probably her big and precious HEART just plain gave out” and more.

Although they had been longtime Democrats, the sisters switched their allegiance to the Republicans and Trump during his presidential campaign. In 2017, Trump invited Diamond and Silk to his inauguration. The sibling duo were also invited to the White House.
The duo rose in fame and fortune in the MAGA world. They became contributors on Fox News but were released from the network after they aired COVID-19 conspiracies, in 2020. Following their removal from the major news network, they joined a right-wing network called NewsMax that gave them their own show titled “Diamond and Silk.”
