Gabriel Pec added two goals Thursday night to his hat trick in the first leg last week as the Los Angeles Galaxy trounced Mount Pleasant 3-0 in Kingston, Jamaica, to complete a 6-0 aggregate victory in the CONCACAF Champions Cup’s round of 16.

The Galaxy advance to oppose Mexico’s Toluca in the quarterfinals next month.

Joao Klauss opened the scoring on Thursday off an 18th-minute corner kick that bounced in the middle off the box. Klauss headed it in from 6 yards out.

Pec broke in along down the right side and rolled a left-footed shot inside the far post in the 61st minute.

In the 87th minute, Los Angeles’ Harbor Miller was free on the left side for a shot that was saved. The rebound landed at the edge of the 6-yard box, where Pec fired it into the vacated net.

Tigres UANL 5 (5), FC Cincinnati 1 (4)

Fernando Gorriaran’s goal in the eighth minute of second-half stoppage time completed Tigres’ rally from a three-goal deficit to an aggregate win over FC Cincinnati in San Nicolas de los Garza, Mexico.

Tigres, who came home from Ohio with a 3-0 deficit last week, move on to face the Seattle Sounders in the quarterfinals.

In the closing moments, after a buildup down the right side, Andre-Pierre Gignac laid the ball off for Gorriaran just outside the center of the 18-yard box. Gorriaran fired a right-footed shot into the bottom left corner of the net.

Tigres got back into the match behind two goals apiece from Rodrigo Aguirre and Ozziel Herrera, who each scored in both halves.

Cincinnati’s Kevin Denkey scored his third of the series in the 65th minute to level the score 4-4 on aggregate before the hosts got the late deciding goal.
