Colton Underwood has indicated that he is ready to settle down after he bought a grand $3.185 million home in Sherman Oaks, Los Angeles. The former reality star of The Bachelor came out less than a year ago publicly in April on Good Morning America, with his father by his side. Colton Underwood and his partner Jordan Brown, who is a democratic political strategist, closed the property deal in California on December 29, 2020.
The listing had been called “a former celebrity” compound by the listers of the property–Dougal Murray with Keller Williams Realty-Studio City. The property was earlier owned by Joe Simpson and Tina Drew, parents of Jessica Simpson who are now divorced. The Dirt was the first to report the news.
The renovated residence consists of a long gated driveway in the much sought after location of Sherman Oaks. It is situated in about one third of an acre of land. It was built in the seventies but has been remodelled, since. It is a combination of traditional and modern styles.
The built-in area is approximately 3,400 square feet. It has four bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms. The main floor has a guest bedroom. There are two additional bedrooms upstairs as well as the main suite. The main suite is fitted with a walk-in closet and bathroom with teak vanity, according to the realtor.
Upgrades to the home include European white oak floors. There is a huge kitchen and a great room. The property also has a custom contemporary stair railing. The formal living room has a vaulted and beamed ceiling and offers views of the front yard with faux grass, a view that is similarly seen from the dining room.
The family room consists of a simple hearth fireplace. It has almost floor to ceiling french windows that lead to the pool.
The outdoor spaces contain a large dining terrace which opend to the backyard that has a fire pit and a circular spa. It spills into a pool which is kidney shaped.
The handsome bachelor of the 2019 reality TV show, Colton Understand got his own docuseries called “Coming Out Colton” on Netflix but the series did not get a warm reception by viewers.
Underwood was publicly spotted in Hawaii with his boyfriend, in September. However, Colton and Brown recents shared their first official phot as partners on Instagram. It showed both of them standing in front of a Christmas tree with the reality star’s pooch Zooka. Now, they have shifted into their own home and are settling down as partners.
