Former “The Bachelorette” star, Clint Arlis passed away on Tuesday. Both his sister Taylor as well as his family friend Scott Bayer reported the death of the 34-year old reality star’s demise on social media. The cause of death was not mentioned as his sister asked for privacy. Tributes poured in for the young actor.
In a post on Facebook, Arlis’ younger sister Taylor shared that her brother had died on January 11, in the morning. She shared a photo of herself with her brothers Clint and Logan. She said that she was sad to inform that her family had lost her “best friend and older brother Clint.”
She did not reveal the cause of the 34-year old’s death but asked for privacy. She also said that the family would share details about the service, soon.
Clint Arlis had starred in Season 11 of ABC’s popular show “The Bachelorette.” He vied for the heart of Kaitlyn Bristowe. He was eliminated in the third episode of the show. His slogan on the show was “Villains gotta vill.”
After the Facebook post, Kaitlyn Bristowe posted several Instagram Stories videos. She offered her condolences and called his death a “huge loss.”
Former bachelor star Nick Viall, who had appeared with Arlis in the same season, also paid tributes to his co-star. He said that Arlis was a “kind, unique and talented person.”
Wrestling coach, Scott Bayer, who worked at the Batavia High School in Batavia, Illinois, the school where Arlis had studied called the star a “beloved son” and “loving older brother.” He added that “The Bachelorette” star had been an inspiration to other wrestlers in the school.
The long post by Bayer also highlighted Arlis’ career as a wrestler. The University of Illinois, where Arlis was a student and athlete, completing both a bachelor’s and a masters degree, also paid tribute to him.
Clint Arlis was an architectural engineer who lived in Chicago, as well as a contestant on the popular show “The Bachelorette.”
