Police said a man cutting grass Friday morning at East Stonewall AME Zion Church in Charlotte smelled a strange odor, then found Ashanti Billie’s body.
The Norfolk chapter of the FBI was made aware of a woman’s body that was found behind a church. An FBI spokesperson said that the body has not been identified and nothing has been confirmed.
