Celebrity Zachery Ty Bryan has entered a guilty plea after he was charged with felony assault. The actor, who is remembered for his role in the popular TV series Home Improvement, has negotiated a deal and will serve a very short prison term, and longer probation. He also has to fulfill other conditions or else his deal will be suspended and he will face a longer prison term. He was arrested in a domestic violence case. He has faced a few other legal troubles in the past, as well.
Celebrity Zachery Ty Bryan appeared before a court in Oregon, on Wednesday. He pleaded guilty to felony assault in the fourth degree. His second charge was dismissed as part of the plea deal. He was arrested by the Eugene Police Department on July 28. Official records had shown that he faced charges including fourth-degree assault, third-degree robbery charges and a misdemeanor claim of harassment.
Celebrity Zachery Ty Bryan received 36 months of supervised probation as well as seven days in jail. He also has to follow a set of conditions that are part of domestic violence cases. He cannot contact the victim without approval from the probation officer. He cannot use drugs or alcohol, moving forward.
If celebrity actor Bryan, who became famous as a child star in the TV series Home Improvement starring a galaxy of celebrity actors, violates any of his probation conditions, his deal would be canceled and he would have to serve 19 to 20 months in prison.
Although the name of the assault victim was not named in the arrest report, celebrity Zachery Ty Bryan has been in a multiyear relationship. He has three young children with model Johnnie Faye Cartwright. After his arrest, his fiancée had released a long statement where she had said that she would “always want what’s best for the father of my children” and more. She had also asked for privacy for her and their children as they could begin with their healing process.
