They launched a mild troll attack on the Chiefs’ celebrity star player, Travis Kelce by blasting a Taylor Swift song on the field. It was shared by several web fans on social media.
On Sunday, the Denver Broncos pulled off an unexpected but thumping victory against the Kansas City Chiefs at Empire Field, at Mile High. The Broncos won 22-9. They decided to make the win more interesting by playing Taylor Swift’s super hit “Shake It Off.”
Celebrity Taylor Swift and Kansas City Chiefs celebrity footballer Travis Kelce have been dating. She has attended his games while he has attended her concerts that are part of her Eras Tour. Swift also wore his jersey at a recent game but was absent from the Sunday one as she is preparing to return to her tour.
The Eras Tour will be on its second leg with a performance in Argentina on November 9. It appears as if pop sensation Taylor Swift might miss other games with NFL celebrity Travis Kelce as she concentrates on her successful tour. However, it is not yet known if Travis Kelce will fly over and watch her concerts outside the U.S.
Travis Kelce had an uneventful game on Sunday. He was limited to just nine targets. Kelce hauled in six catches for 58 yards. He had no touchdowns on Sunday. Other players on the offense also underperformed, making only three field goals, and also went 0-for-3, in the red zone. There were also four turnovers on offense. The Chiefs also struggled on third downs, 3-10.
Celebrity Chiefs’ quarterback Patrick Mahomes said that it was “the worst” he “felt walking out of the stadium.”
NFL celebrity Mahomes also said that the Denver Broncos were “the better football team” on Sunday and that he gave “them their props.”
