The actor has remained silent about their relationship but briefly opened up to a popular outlet about the end of their more than six-year relationship. The exes broke up in April 2023. Taylor Swift is in a relationship with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. Joe Alwyn did not respond when asked if he was in a relationship.
Joe Alwyn spoke about his latest film, Kinds of Kindness, and working with Yargos Lanthimos for the second time in an interview with the Sunday Times Style Magazine. He also briefly opened up about his relationship with multiple Grammy-winning singer Taylor Swift.
Taylor Swift recently released a mega-hit album called The Tortured Poets Department TTPD. It seems to be named after a WhatsApp group called The Tortured Man Club. The group includes Joe Alwyn and actors Paul Mescal and Andrew Scott.
Joe Alwyn did not respond when asked if he had heard the album The Tortured Poets Department. However, he did say that he had never visited Vauxhall. There is a pub called the Black Dog in Vauxhall. One of Taylor Swift’s songs in the album mentions a bar, The Black Dog, and the pub/bar in Vauxhall started playing her songs, adding Swift-related merchandise and more after visits by her web fans.
Alwyn also spoke of his six-and-a-half-year relationship with Taylor Swift and noted that the end of their relationship was “a hard thing to navigate.”
He also spoke of how their break up was dissected and speculated on in the public domain, including social media, and also commented that “…there is always going to be a gap between what is known and what is said. I have made my peace with that.”
He also said that Taylor and he had mutually agreed to keep their relationship private, and he didn’t intend to change that. He added that he was “fortunate to be in a great place in my life, professionally and personally.”
Ex Taylor Swift is in a happy and committed place in her life personally as she is dating NFL Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. Professionally, she is boosting countries’ economies and her financial worth with her successful multi-billion dollar global Eras Tour. Joe Alwyn is doing well professionally after the release of Kinds of Kindness but has not mentioned the new developments in his personal life, as yet, since his split from Taylor Swift. However, he said he has “brilliant, authentic people” in his life.
