Celebrity Taylor Swift recently concluded a four day Eras Tour concert in Paris wearing glittering outfits and attractive jewelry. A large number of her American web fans visited Paris to watch her perform and also to see the City of Light. Embark Beyond, a luxury travel agency said that the number of Americans visiting Paris for Taylor Swift’s four performances in Paris had drawn crowds five times larger than the numbers who are expected to come to Paris for the Summer Olympics 2024, to date.
Embark Beyond co-founder Jack Ezon said that they had not anticipated such large numbers of Swifties flying to Paris to watch Taylor Swift perform four shows at La Defense Arena, located outside the French capital.
He also said, “Look at what Taylor did to the Super Bowl. She’s even overshadowing the Olympics.”
Each show in Paris had a total seating capacity of 40,000, unlike the much bigger Olympic stadiums. However, such is her popularity that five times as many Americans had booked luxury travels to watch Taylor Swift perform, according to the New York-based travel agency.
Ezon also said that the luxury travel agency planned over 200 trips for Swifties, of whom one third were mother and daughter pairs. The average length of stay of Taylor Swift’s web fans was three nights and they generally stayed at luxury hotels including Plaza Athene, Le Bristol and Hotel de Crillon.
Many officials have admitted that Taylor Swift’s presence at the Super Bowl was one of the factors that made the February 11, 2024 event at Allegiant Stadium, in Las Vegas, Nevada the most watched broadcast in the history of the nation.
Taylor Swift had flown from Japan to LAX hours before the event. She was in a suite to cheer her NFL boyfriend Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and his team to victory as they won 25-22 against the San Francisco 49ers. Taylor’s presence at his games made many of her web fans called Swifties take interest in NFL games and watch and attend them.
