Taylornomics or Swiftinomics describes Taylor Swift’s effect on the local economy in locations where she performs. Taylor Swift has moved from being a local U.S. town/city phenomenon to a global boost for nations.
Barclays Group has predicted that Taylor Swift’s UK leg of the tour could see Taylor Swift web fans spending 848 pounds on tickets, travel, accommodation, outfits, and other expenses. It said that Swifties would attend 15 performances in 4 cities in the UK.
About 1.2 million fans from the UK and worldwide are expected to see Taylor perform. Taylor Swift will perform in cities including London and Liverpool in England, Edinburgh in Scotland, and Cardiff in Wales.
The tour is expected to boost the United Kingdom’s economy by close to a billion pounds, as Barclays calculations report an anticipated spending of 997 million pounds.
Barclays Consumer Spend research called the Swiftonomics report has combined consumer research with customer transactions of hundreds of millions to provide spending trends by Swifties.
Taylor Swift fans in the United Kingdom are eagerly awaiting the arrival of the multi Grammy award winner. They are also expecting wardrobe and jewelry changes as seen in the Paris shows earlier this month.
