Swifties, as her fans are called, have visited the bar in such large numbers that the pub owners have had to restrict entry. The pub owners of The Black Dog are thrilled and have named signature dishes and drinks after Taylor Swift.
The Black Dog is a popular but quiet pub in a red brick Victorian building in Vauxhall, southeast London. After Taylor Swift seemingly referenced it in one of her songs in TTPD, many web fans from England and the US have visited the pub/bar called The Black Dog.
Many web fans also wonder which ex of Taylor Swift visited this pub without her. The song indicates that it could be Matty Healy or Joe Alwyn, though the odds favor Alwyn.
According to reports in several London outlets, Lily Bottomley, the events and social manager at The Black Dog, hinted that a “certain blonde regular. customer” had visited the pub. The staff scoured CCTV footage but could not spot Taylor Swift visiting the pub.
As several Swifties have requested, the Black Dog is also getting ready to sell Taylor Swift-themed merchandise. They have already added a Swift Burger and Taylor’s Version of all cocktails.
The Black Dog is capitalizing on its reported link to Taylor Swift’s double album TTDP by putting the lyrics of The Black Dog on the side of the pub. Many Swifties are out there and taking photos.
On Friday, Spotify announced that Taylor Swift’s The Tortured Poets Department broke the record for the most streamed song. The song achieved this feat on the streaming platform in less than 12 hours.
Taylor Swift will perform at Wembley in London, England, this summer. The Eras Tour includes eight shows in the city, and the pub is preparing for an influx of web fans.
