Celebrity Taylor Swift was shining in a red and black outfit and jewelry as she performed her first concert in Lyon, France, following her earlier performances in Paris. The pop icon briefly performed in the rain as the skies opened up and sent blessings to the kind and loving singer. Gray clouds had loomed over the stadium before she began performing for the second part of her Eras Tour in France.
Taylor Swift began performing Enchanted while there was a sprinkle of rain. It became a downpour as she moved to Reputation. The rain show took place mainly when she performed Baby, let the games begin while wearing a red and black bodysuit.
She continued performing, later on, the piano for the combined Folklore/Evermore set. Before performing Champagne Problems, Taylor Swift said, “We have officially had a rain show tonight, and that is set. That is permanent. It doesn’t matter if it doesn’t rain again.”
The 34-year-old singer, who performed at the Groupama Stadium on Sunday, June 2, in Lyon, also commented that she saw that her web fans continued to dance even harder after it started raining and called them “absolute champions and heroes.” Her supporters loudly cheered her as they appreciated her kind words.
Taylor Swift also showed her all-encompassing nature, declaring, “Happy Pride Month, Lyon.” There were rainbow lights in the background when she performed the song You Need to Calm Down on stage. This hit song from Taylor Swift’s colossal playlist is recognized for its advocacy for the LGBTQ+ community.
She also performed The Prophecy from The Tortured Poets Department TTPD on the guitar and many other songs. TTPD, Taylor’s newest album, is still No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart. The album has spent six consecutive weeks in the top spot.
Taylor Swift has one more show in Lyon before she begins performing for the Eras Tour in the UK.
