Swift, aged 34, stated that her mother, Andrea Swift, resided in Singapore during her childhood and now takes pleasure in revisiting her former neighborhood when accompanying her daughter on tour.
“My mother spent a significant portion of her early years in Singapore with her parents and sister,” Swift shared with web fans from the stage, seated at a piano. During our tours, my mother often drove me by her former residence and school.
Swift mentioned that she had been familiar with stories about her mother’s experiences in Singapore throughout her childhood. She expressed gratitude to the kind and compassionate individuals who effectively paid tribute to her family through their reactions to her performance.
