Celebrity singer Taylor Swift and British actor Joe Alwyn have split according to several reports. The split has been amicable and not dramatic. While Taylor Swift is continuing with her Eras tour, Alwyn has been conspicuously absent. Earlier, he used to make it a point to be there for her. They reportedly began dating in 2016 and were together last year, as well. However, in the recent past their relationship seems to have run its course.
Celebrity singer Taylor Swift and her celebrity boyfriend Joe Alwyn had an amicable breakup. According to a source who shared the news with Entertainment Weekly, the first outlet to report the news, “it was not dramatic”, and Alwyn had not been seen at her shows as they had split.

Taylor Swift had alluded to her romantic relationship in her super hit Lavender Haze. She explained that “lavender haze” was an expression from the fifties that described that a person was in an “all-encompassing love glow.”

Swift had also explained that this first song in her Midnights album was “sort off about ignoring” stuff that included “weird rumors, tabloid stuff” and more during her “relationship for six years.” The celebrity singer has been with the celebrity actor for this period so she acknowledged in her own words that the song had been inspired by their romantic relationship.
Celebrity Joe Alwyn had spoken years ago about his relationship with the record-breaking singer. In an interview with British Vogue in 2018, he said that he was aware that fans always wanted to be in the know about his relationship with Taylor Swift and they had been successful in keeping it private.
Taylor Swift has mentioned Alwyn as a collaborator for songs in her recent albums although he uses the alias, William Bowery. She confirmed that Joe Alwyn used this pseudonym in a Disney Plus special titled Folklore: The Long Pond Sessions. Joe Alwyn has collaborated with Taylor Swift in albums included Folklore and Evermore, and in the recent album Midnights. She has also mentioned in the past that they have bonded over sad songs.
