The Modern Family alum, celebrity star Sofia Vergara recently celebrated a milestone birthday. Social media erupted with comments as many of her followers were shocked to know that the ebullient star was now 50 years old. Sofia looked stunning as usual as she shared a photo with a white birthday cake. But what was surprising was the candle atop the cake which read 50.
Sofia Vergara celebrated her birthday with her family, on Saturday at the Sunset Tower Hotel. Her son Manolo Gonzalez Vergara as well as niece Claudia Vergara were present with her. The celebrity star shared a photo of her wearing a svelte white and red dress. She was sweetly looking at a cake which had a red and white candle was in the shape of 50 as well as a brown one next to it.
Her second photo on Instagram was a selfie with her young family members. All three of them were beaming for the camera. Congratulations and comments poured in from friends and family members. She captioned the post with emojis featuring cake slices.
On Sunday, June 10, which is her birth date, husband Joe Manganiello also posted a carousel of photos featuring the celebrity couple. The images showed them at various events as well as in different locations. He captioned the post declaring his love for her as he wished her a happy birthday.
Sofia also posted a pre-birthday celebratory lunch photo. She posed next to a bottle of wine that read “50 & still fabulous.” Wine is said to become better as it ages.
Sofia’s birthday party was also shared by her dog Bubbles, who turned nine as she turned 50. Both of them posed in front of a blue cake this time. But this was not all! The celebrity star shared a photo of her home filled with fresh flowers and a third cake and a throwback photo of Vergara as a child
The next day, Sofia shared a photo with an S shaped cake. Later in the evening, she shared another photo of her family having dinner. And yes, there was cake! This time in the shape of a Louis Vuitton bag filled with money.
