On Thursday, celebrity singer Ed Sheeran posted a picture on social media and announced that he and his wife Cherry Seaborn, welcomed their second child together. Both their children are baby girls. The “Shape of You” singer posted a picture that was very similar to the one he had posted after the birth of their first daughter.
Sheeran posted a cute photo of white baby socks on top of a brown blanket. The 31-year old Brit celebrity singer,wrote that he wanted to let everyone know that they had had “another beautiful baby girl.” He said that both of them were very much in love with her and were “over the moon to be a family of 4 x.”
The news was a pleasant surprise for Ed Sheeran fans. The couple had kept the pregnancy a secret. Only very few close family members of the couple were aware of the pregnancy. Congratulatory messages poured in.
Ed and Cherry grew up in the same town, in West Yorkshire. They were childhood sweethearts. They rekindled their romance years later in 2014. They got married, in a quiet ceremony, five years after they had got back together, sometime in January 2019.
They welcomed their first daughter Lyra Antarctica Seaborn Sheeran in September 2020. She was conceived naturally when they were visiting Antarctica in 2019 and so they decided to add it to her name. The “Thinking Aloud” singer had shared a similar photo of a pair of baby socks placed on a blanket, when she was born.

After the birth of their first child, the “Put It All On Me” singer said that he loved being a dad. He also spoke of how they had been trying for a child and how grateful they were when Cherry conceived. Ed Sheeran also said that he would love to add to his family and now they are a “Perfect” family of four.
