Celebrity Sean Diddy Combs is facing yet another lawsuit. The rapper has been accused of human trafficking and sexual assault by an adult film actress. According to reports, the entertainment mogul is also the subject of a criminal investigation by federal authorities.
Singer Cassie Ventura first sued Sean Diddy Combs, and the case was settled. However, many other alleged victims sued the rapper for alleged sexual misconduct, trafficking, and more. The American rapper who has also been called Puff Daddy or P. Diddy maintains that he is innocent.
Adria English, who is a former adult actress, has accused Sean Diddy Combs of sex trafficking and sexual assault. The lawsuit filed on Wednesday alleges that the rapper used her as “a sexual pawn for the pleasure and financial benefit of others.” The 114-page complaint says that the sexual misconduct took place at “White Parties” that were held in the rapper’s homes in Hamptons, New York and Miami, Florida.
This is the ninth lawsuit against Sean Diddy Combs that alleges sexual assault by him. Eight law cases are pending, while the first one filed by Cassandra Cassie Ventura, his former girlfriend, was settled with undisclosed financial terms.
Sources familiar with the matter have told several prominent outlets that Sean Diddy Combs has been notified that he is the subject of an ongoing investigation.
Federal authorities in the Southern District of New York reportedly notified Sean Diddy Combs’s legal team about the investigation. Sources also say that a grand jury is hearing evidence about this investigation, though charges may not yet have been considered.
Law enforcement authorities raided Combs properties in Los Angeles and Miami three months ago. In May, Sean Diddy Combs apologized on social media after a video of him brutally beating Cassie Ventura at a hotel in Los Angeles in 2016 became viral. Bad Boy Records founder Sean Diddy Combs and his legal team continue to maintain his innocence.
