Celebrity Kanye West continues to face problems in his businesses after his recent antisemitic comments resulted in the breaking up of lucrative partnerships with Adidas, Balenciaga and others. Now, Ye as he is now called, might see his Yeezy brand evicted from its office space in Los Angeles, as the company has not paid rent for the past two months.
According to The Nation Newspaper, CT Calabasas, the firm that owns the building where the Yeezy brand is located, has asked the celebrity rapper to pay the outstanding amount owed, reportedly $63,254, in full within 72 hours of the notice, failing which the company will be evicted from its rented premises.
Rapper Kanye has been renting the premises from 2015. He was also regularly paying rent these past few years, until this notice. The 15,000 square feet of office space has been used by him from when the company was called West Brands Fashion.
Reports say that the non payment of rent is only one among the various problems that Kanye West has been facing in the recent past. A report in Rolling Stone said that the Yeezy brand was in a state of chaos.
Company employees have spoken of a toxic work environment. Many of them had joined the brand thinking that it was a dream job but the ambience made it the opposite.
According to reports, some of the complaints from employees at Yeezy included the following:
Abrupt firing from the job.
Layoffs.
Intimidation of employees.
Public humiliation.
A cult like atmosphere and rule of sycophancy.
Sources anonymously reported that Kanye’s recent behavior on social media was the same as his behavior in the company. They also said that Ye thrived on chaos and working at the company was chaotic. Many fans are watching.

Kanye West has been spewing antisemitic comments and was suspended from mainstream social media for his toxic remarks. However, he has continued with them on alternative sites and is seen in the company of far-right white supremacist Nick Fuentes. He has also professed his love for Hitler and the Nazis, which might contribute to a rise in hate crimes as well increase divisions in society as he does have a large fan base and is a popular rapper.
