Australian born celebrity rapper Iggy Azalea is back after a brief retirement. She had quit the industry last year, although she has been accompanying Pitbull on his tour in the nation. On August 9, the singer announced on social media that she was coming back. In a lengthy post, the Australian rapper, who moved to the U.S. at the age of 16, to pursue her musical career, detailed the reasons for her return in a “in-your-face” post. Fans were thrilled with her post and are waiting for her to drop a new album or track.
On Tuesday, Iggy Azalea posted on Twitter that she had been willing to walk away from her musical career as she was tired of the negative energy that it had attracted. However, she learnt that even when she was “minding” her “business” there still were negative and nosey comments.The singer added that if she couldn’t have peace, then they couldn’t have it as well. She declared, “I’m coming back. Cry about it.” She clarified in another tweet that she wasn’t talking about “dates, direction” or any other specifics. She just said that “it’s happening and there will be a budget.”
In July 2021, the celebrity rapper had said that she was taking a break from music so that she could focus on “other creative projects.” She had also posted that her newest album End of an Era was “so special” to her as she was was “going to take a few years” away from music as she wanted to focus on other creative “projects and things” that she had been passionate about or things had been an inspiration to her.

She had said that she was excited about these new projects and hoped that her fans would support her in her other projects that went beyond music. Iggy Azalea achieved mainstream success, in 2014, with the single Fancy. Her last album which was also her third album was End of an Era.
