Although Marchand of the New York Post was the first to report a $375 million struck with Brady by Fox Sports, he remained silent on the post.

When Sports Illustrated posted on social media a photo of celebrity Tom Brady wearing a Bucs jersey and cap backwards and a caption suggesting that the legendary quarterback might reconsider his options with Fox, after retiring from football games, the great man and football player shut down the rumor with two simple words “Fake news.”
After the celebrity footballer commented on the rumor, journalist Andrew Marchand also published a new report. This report said that he agreed with Tom Brady’s comment that it was fake news and also said that his words were “slightly” changed by the blogger from Israel.
TMZ Sports reported that sources told the outlet that although Brady’s contract was scheduled to begin after roughly 16 months, the NFL legend had already begun preparations for the role.
Fox Sports considers the deal with the legendary footballer to be a coup of sorts as many consider Brady to be the best footballer ever. The deal had been signed in May 2022. Brady said that he would begin working with the sports network in the fall of next year.
