On Monday, celebrity couple Nikki Reed and Ian Somerhalder announced that they would be welcoming a second baby, on social media. The Vampire Diaries alum and the Twilight actress shared the news on their individual accounts with the same photo but different text. The family of three is now going to be a family of four. Nikki Reed and Ian Somerhalder got married in April 2015.
The American star couple shared the same photo on their Instagram. It showed Nikki Reed looking gorgeous in a deep maroon gown and a wide brimmed hat. She is seen carrying daughter Bodhi in one arm and across her shoulder, while the other arm is cradling her pregnancy bump.
In the photo, Nikki Reed is seen against a natural background filled with trees and shrubs including one with deep pink flowers. Although her face is shaded by her hat, a glimpse of her smile can be seen. There is a blue sky in the background, as well and the photo looks eye catching. Fans are super excited.
The celebrity couple have been raising their first child Bodhi, away from the spotlight. However, they have said that all three of them live on a farm and love it.
Nikki Reed added a caption to the photo that said that 2023 will be a year of celebrating life and gushed over her new pregnancy. She also told her fans that although she had strong boundaries over what she shared on social media, she added that some things were “too good not to share” and added a smile emoji.
