Celebrity Lauren Sanchez revealed the cover of her first book for children. The fiancée of Amazon and Blue Origin space company founder Jeff Bezos is an Emmy award-winning journalist and helicopter pilot who runs her own business, an aviation company. So, it is not surprising that she wrote a book titled The Fly Who Flew to Space. The book will be released in Spanish and English in September.
Celebrity Lauren Sanchez wrote on social media that she was “excited to share the cover” of her first book and more. She also tagged the illustrator, mentioned the release date of September 17, and asked her web fans to preorder the book. The book publisher is Simon and Schuster.
Sanchez posted two photos of the book cover—one in English and the other in Spanish. She described the book as “a cosmic adventure that’s more than just a story—it’s a spark for change,” followed by emojis.

Lauren Sanchez spoke to PEOPLE about her first children’s book. The 54-year-old celebrity told the outlet that she had the idea for a children’s book for a long time, but it was a little different. The earlier version was about a fly stuck on a helicopter.
According to PEOPLE, when she was learning to fly helicopters, she “was like, Oh, look at this little fly…who’s flying.”
She said she told her children about the fly who had accompanied her on a joy ride that night and wondered about it becoming “a great children’s book” as the fly would get to see several “incredible places” along with her in the helicopter.
She said the idea remained with her, and her life changed after Amazon founder Jeff Bezos became her partner. This life-changing experience altered the plot of her book.
Lauren Sanchez told the outlet, “When Jeff went to space, I was like, ‘This fly needs to go into space.”
