Celebrity media personality Lauren Sanchez attended the 21st Annual Living Legends of Aviation Awards ceremony at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills as an honoree along with fiancé Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, who won an award earlier in 2019, and other honorees including Prince Harry, actor John Travolta who was the host and others. She is the founder of Black Ops Aviation, an aerial filming company.
Lauren Sanchez received the Elling Halvorson Vertical Flight Hall of Fame Award. The 54-year-old pilot was recognized for her expertise as a helicopter pilot and an aviation businesswoman.

Both of Lauren Sanchez’s parents are pilots, and her following in their footsteps could be expected. She opened her own aviation company, Black Ops Aviation, in 2016. She owns and operates this aerial film and production company and is one of the first female owners.
