Talented singer-songwriter and actress Lady Gaga recently posed by a large wheel, as Top Gun: Maverick, Tom Cruise’s much awaited sequel was released and collected huge revenues at the box office. Although Lady Gaga doesn’t act in the movie, her song track sure does feature in it. She wrote and sang a song “Hold My Hand” for Top Gun: Maverick.
Lady Gaga wore a white tank top that showed her toned body and khaki cargo pants. Her blond hair was partly swept up and look tousled. She wore heavy eye makeup and had a parted lips look in the photo. She captioned it in all caps and said that the movie Top Gun: Maverick and its soundtrack was out and it featured her song “Hold My Hand.”The post got 1.186 million likes.
The original song, “Hold My Hand” was written and performed by Lady Gaga. She explained in detail about the song on social media, earlier this month. She said that she had not realized that the song had multiple layers, spanning across the “film’s heart”, her own “psyche” and “the nature of the world we’ve been living in.”
The talented celebrity singer also said that she had been working on the song for years to perfect it as she wanted the song to portray the “need” to be understood and to “try to understand each other.”
She thanked all those who had worked with her on the song and described “Hold My Hand” as a “love letter to the world during and after a very hard time.”
Lady Gaga has written and sung several songs for movies and shows including A Star Is Born, Shameless, The Masked Singer and RuPaul’s Drag Race and has won multiple Grammys and other awards for her albums and songs.
The Top Gun franchise is known for its original music, right from the first movie’s soundtrack.
