Celebrity couple Kourtney Kardashian and rocker Travis Barker got married for the third time in Portfino, Italy at a medieval Castello Brown fortress, on Sunday. Kourtney wore a white Dolce & Gabbana mini dress and a white embroidered veil that trailed behind. Travis Barker, the Blink-182 drummer decided to remain traditional and wore a classic black tuxedo, also from D&G.
The white mini dress which Kourtney wore was not a conventional wedding dress. Dolce & Gabbana are known for their unconventional style and the dress had thick straps and a dipped neckline. It was paired with fingerless gloves. The outfit was completed with a huge flowing veil and was accessorized with matching pointed pumps.
Dolce & Gabbana described the celebrity reality star’s wedding dress as a “custom DGAltaModa lace and satin corset mini dress. The fashion house said that the custom made dress had been inspired by archival Italian lingerie.
The designer label described the veil as a depiction of the Virgin Mary. The religious iconography in the veil had been inspired by a Travis Barker tattoo. It had text that read “Family Loyalty Respect.”
The entire Kardashian-Jenner family wore several outfits by Dolce and Gabbana. The fashion house said that D&G had not sponsored the wedding but had “hosted” it.
