On Friday, celebrity rapper Kanye West released a list of those whom he called “controlled celebrities.” He also said that some celebrities’ family members became “sacrifices.” Ye as he is now called continued to rant about celebrity stars and businesses who had canceled him. Meanwhile, after the departure of its five star recruit, other basketball players also left the Donda Academy, which no longer has a single invitation to play across the nation.
The 45-year old rapper was answering questions, from inside a vehicle as posed by the media. He said, “They can’t control me.” He proceeded to list a number of celebrities whom he said were controlled and they included
Shaq
Charles Barkley
LeBron James
Jay-Z and
Beyonce.
Ye also said that Minister Louis Farrakhan had “slighted” him. Then he went off on a tangent on what he deemed as Hollywood sacrifices. He said that his “momma” was sacrificed. His mother is Donda West, after whom he mentioned in his album as well as his academy–the Donda Academy.
He also said that other celebrity family members who had been sacrificed included Michael Jordan’s dad, Bill Cosby’s son, and Dr. Dre and his son. He also spoke of the businesses who “hit” him and mentioned Gap and Adidas and said that Forbes had to mention his net worth as $400 million.
Kanye West also said that he could say what he wanted to but not go to jail as he had not killed anyone. Earlier, he had spoken of “a verbal fast for 30 days” but seems to have broken it before the weekend.

Meanwhile, Donda Academy has seen its basketball team being decimated. Earlier five-star recruit Robert Dillingham had left the Academy. Following his exit, other players also left the academy The last four remaining players have also left before the weekend. The 2022-2023 basketball season has been canceled as the team’s recruits have left Donda Academy and there was no basketball ball team or star recruits, as on Friday.
