Celebrity Justin Timberlake has been released without bail after being charged with one count of DWI and a citation for running a stop sign and failing to keep in lane. The celebrity singer was arrested after he raced past a stop sign and failed to keep in line. He was arrested past midnight after he left a popular hotel in the Hamptons area of Long Island, New York.
The former lead singer of NSYNC, who split from the band and became a solo singer, was partying with friends at the American Hotel. He left the hotel and began driving in his gray BMW, passing a stop sign.
He was followed by police after this and was pulled over for reportedly swerving. According to the police report, he was stopped at about 12.20 a.m. near Madison Street and Middle Lane Highway.
When the police pulled him over they realized he was intoxicated. His eyes were “bloodshot” as well as “glassy.” There was an alcoholic odor in his breath. His speech was slow and he “was unsteady.”
The complaint written by Sag Harbor Village police officer Michael Arkinson also said that “he performed poorly on all standardized field sobriety tests.”
The pop star was identified as a 43-year-old Franklin, Tennessee resident in the police report. He reportedly told the officer that he “had one martini” and “followed my friend home.” He refused a breathalyzer test.

Justin Timberlake pleaded not guilty in court on Tuesday. According to officials, he is scheduled to appear virtually on July 26.
Justin Timberlake is married to actress Jessica Biel. They have two children. The Disney alum was earlier involved with Britney Spears and had allegations of toxic behavior against her. He was also involved in a controversy when he performed with celebrity legend Janet Jackson at a Super Bowl performance.
Justin Timberlake is on tour. He has already played in Tampa, Florida, on Friday and Miami, Florida, on Sunday for his Forget Tomorrow World Tour after releasing his sixth album, Everything I Thought I Was.
