Celebrity actor Johnny Depp has won his libel case against his ex-wife in which she said she was a victim of abuse, after seven weeks of deliberations.
Depp has been given $10 million in compensatory damages and $5 million in punitive penalties by the jury.
Heard’s remarks regarding her marriage were deemed to be “false,” and she behaved with “actual malice,” according to the verdict.
The jury stated that the actor, however, was determined to have defamed Heard through his attorney, and awarded her $2 million.
Dolph Lundgren, Amber Heard’s co-star in Aquaman, had nothing but admiration for Amber Heard. In 2018’s “Aquaman” and the impending sequel, Princess Mera, the Swedish actor plays King Nereus, while Heard plays his daughter, Princess Mera.
Redline Steel inventor Colin Wayne questioned Lundgren about working with Heard during an Instagram Live session on Monday. The actor replied that Heard was friendly with everyone, including the workers, and it was all about being real. The former Limelight bouncer stated that all the “Aquaman” actors and crew are wonderful people.
Heard’s participation in next year’s “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom” has sparked controversy, with a petition to get her removed from the film almost reaching its goal number of signatures. As of Wednesday morning, the list had grown to 4.43 million names, exceeding the intended goal of 4.5 million. According to reports, the Texas native only has roughly ten minutes of screen time in the Warner Bros.-backed drama.
Meanwhile, a TikTok user went viral after admitting she had gotten a tattoo of Johnny Depp’s lawyer Camille Vasquez, . the word ‘objection’ is captioned under the tatoo. Last week, Jazzmyn Wollfe of Canada tweeted a video of her new tattoo, which has since received over 1 million views.
Camille’s confidence ‘amazed’ Jazzmyn, who said she did the tattoo because she admires her, said she was so ‘impressed’ and ‘amazed’ by it. Vasquez rose to prominence after her cross-examination of Amber Heard during Johnny’s $50 million defamation lawsuit against his ex-wife garnered widespread attention on social media.
Onlookers were especially taken aback by her frequent objections – 12 in 10 minutes, to be exact – which left Amber Heard’s lawyer with just enough time to finish her inquiries.
