Johnny Depp went from popular loved celebrity to a bit of a castoff. That’s not the case anymore as the talented and beloved actor rebounds with love and support from his fans- and new offers coming his way. Depp won the lawsuit he brought forth to Amber Heard for libel and defamation over an Op-ed published newspaper article. After winning the trial, Depp come out on top with new project offers.
Dep will be reunited with the Hollywood Vampires band which names Alice Cooper numbers among the members of the famous music group.
Johnny Depp is rumored to be getting paid over $300 million to return to “Pirates of the Caribbean,” after getting cancelled from the franchise in 2018 from the abuse allegations by ex-wife Amber Heard. Depp is rumored to return as the character Jack Sparrow. Source say he will appear in the Pirates of the Caribbean 6 and the spin-off Disney+ series Captain of the Black Pearl.
Depp was awarded $15 million in damages by the jury in his $50 million defamation case agains Amber Hard. The award was lessened to $10.35 million by Judge Penney Azcarate because of the the state of Virginia’s punitive damages limitations. The jury awarded Amber heard $2 million in damages out of Heard’s $100 million countersuit.
Great news for Johhny and bad news for Amber Heard. The actress intends to appeal. Deadline reports, ” TheAquaman star will have to put up an $8.35 million bond with 6% interest per year for any appeal to formally move forward.”
