Celebrity John Lennon’s son Sean Ono Lennon recently posted a joking review of Prince Harry’s autobiography. He posted his long-awaited book review and punned “Spare Me.” However, his joke about the book’s title got strong retaliation from Harry’s web fans on social media. The talented son of Beatles legend John Lennon and Yoko Ono provided interesting and scathing replies, including calling Harry an “idiot.”

Sean Lennon wrote on social media, “My long-awaited review of Prince Harry’s autobiography is two words. ‘Spare Me.’”

Many of Prince Harry’s fans on X, formerly called Twitter, began to criticize him and even pointed out the similarities between him and Harry as Sean lost his father, John Lennon, of the Beatles fame, who was shot and killed at 40. Sean was five years old when he lost his father, John Lennon, while Harry lost his mother, Princess Diana, when he was 12.

Sean Ono replied to that comment and said that he was aware that he and Harry had things in common. They had met once, and that was before Sean realized that Harry “was an idiot.”

Sean Ono Lennon said that his review was a “pun,” but Harry deserved “to be mocked after that todger episode.”

In his book Spare, Prince Harry wrote about how his penis, which he referred to as his todger, was frostbitten; his friend suggested he used an ointment; he said that his mother, Lady Diana, used it on her lips and more. This incident has been particularly mentioned by the media and others who considered it a weird, distasteful, unnecessary, and unwanted recollection in his book.

Sean Ono Lennon also said that Harry’s past was sad and he did empathize with him and more but also said that Harry deserved some mockery.

When a web fan pointed out that Sean was jealous of Harry, Sean pointed out that he had won an Oscar and was “doing ok.”

Sean Lennon won an Oscar in March for Best Animated Short Film for the film War Is Over! Inspired by the Music of John & Yoko, who are his parents. The 48-year-old musician co-wrote the movie with director Dave Mullins.
