Celebrity Joe Rogan, the American podcaster, has an opinion on many matters that pertain to the nation. He said he is “genuinely concerned” about drones seen in large numbers across the tri-state area. The government has said that they are not a public safety concern. Still, the CEO of a remote aircraft system company has another theory: that the podcaster expresses concern to his web fans.
John Ferguson, who heads a remote aircraft system in Kansas, recently claimed on social media that the unmanned drones had a purpose, and that might include smelling a gas leak or similar things on the ground.
On a Saturday post on TikTok, CEO Ferguson said, “The only reason you would ever fly an unmanned aircraft at night is if you are looking for something.”
He also said, “So my belief is they’re trying to smell something on the ground—gas leaks, radioactive material, whatever.”
He also added that he did not believe that the drones were involved in anything nefarious. He said he was guessing about the drone activity based on his expertise. However, his guess resonated with American podcaster Joe Rogan, who mentioned on platform X that this theory had him “genuinely concerned.”
Earlier, White House National Security Council spokesman John Kirby had said that many of the unmanned sightings of the supposed drones were manned aircraft and that the drones were not a public safety concern.
Many New York City and Northern New Jersey communities have seen drones in the night skies since late November. These somewhat unusual sightings have alarmed web fans in the nearby residences and some local law enforcement officials.
