Celebrity host Kelly Ripa confirmed to fans that she is a runner as well, after she posted a selfie with Riverdale star husband Mark Consuelos after they completed the Big House 5k run at the University of Michigan. The mother and baker also displayed her sense of humor in the photo’s caption. The couple’s youngest child, 19-year old Joaquin is currently studying there.
The talk show host and her husband are dressed in beanies and leisurewear. The photo also displays Michigan themed medals that dangle from their necks. However, it’s her cheeky caption that brings a smile and endears us once again to the 51-year old effervescent host.

Kelly’s Instagram photo got love and cheers from celebrities included Bethenny Frankel and Holly Robinson Peete but when husband Mark shared the same photo to his Instagram, he was teased by their 24-year old son Michael, who commented, “Invite me to the next one. I’ll smoke you both.”
The popular show host has posted a video in her Instagram story where she said that a lot of people wanted to know what they did on a Sunday morning. The footage shows her walking up to husband asking him what they did on a Sunday morning.
Consuelos replied, “5k” as he holds up his medal.
Ripa follows up immediately and says that she was “just kidding” and they never did that but they “did it today.” She added that they “were respectable” and “were not embarrassing, not more so than we normally are.”
She also posted other photos–pre and post run.
The former ballerina and her actor husband lead a healthy lifestyle. Despite an occasional McDonald’s, the blonde host advocates avocado, toast and microgreens. The celebrity couple–stay fit and healthy and have weathered through more than a quarter century of married life. Might we deduce…a couple that works out and has a healthy lifestyle together, stays together through the years?
