While on vacation on the Italian island of Ischia, known for its active volcano, the former Hole frontwoman exposed her abs on social media. She currently seems to be having a ball while on a luxurious vacation in Italy, and she has been happy to spread her happiness to everyone. In fact, Courtney appears to be bragging about her incredible trip and ensuring that her detractors can see how much fun she is having.
The Hole singer glows in a recent batch of photos she shared with her 1.1 million Instagram followers, flaunting her toned body in a floral bikini. In addition to several gold chains, oversized black sunglasses, a few bracelets, numerous tattoos, and a very unique pair of shoes, Courtney, who is no stranger to controversy, accessorized the two-piece.
The 58-year-old raised her arms in the air in both pictures. She held her head to one side in the first one, and raised it in the second to take in the warm sunlight. The best part of her caption was when she tagged the R.E.M. band’s official Instagram page and said to her fans, “Living well is the best revenge.”

Controversy is nothing new for the singer. Following Olivia Rodrigo’s promotional image for her concert movie, Sour Prom, last year, Courtney Love launched an attack on the rising pop star via social media, stating that Rodrigo had stolen her original idea without permission, and that was rude. The 56-year-old grunge icon faced backlash for her comment.
The singer has written a memoir, as most celebrities tend to do. The Hole frontwoman is also reportedly getting ready to release her next book soon. Followers can only assume that her book will be a page-turner given the incredible life she’s led, from being a woman fronting a band to marrying Kurt Cobain to losing him, and that’s just the beginning.
