The much loved celebrity couple Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez are married. They got married in a quiet, low key ceremony in Las Vegas. The celebrity singer, actress and entrepreneur posted several photos and a video of their surprise wedding, on Saturday. She also posted a lot of content on her website/newsletter OnTheJLo, on Sunday.
Jennifer Lopez wrote that they “did it.” She described love to be beautiful, kind and patient and noted that it was “Twenty years patient.” She said that they had the exact wedding that they wanted and described the details of their Vegas wedding which was a “dream” one though Elvis was unavailable to officiate!
She also praised the concept of a Las Vegas wedding and once again gushed over love and called it “a great thing” and also said that it might be the “best of things” and that it was “worth waiting for.”
Court records show that the couple obtained a marriage license in Clark County. It was taken out as well as processed on Saturday, July 16. The license had both their legal names: Jennifer Lynn Lopez and Benjamin Geza Affleck.
Earlier this year, after news outlets saw her wearing an engagement ring, the celebrity singer had posted a video message OnTheJLo where she said, “You’re perfect” and then viewers could briefly see a beautiful green diamond ring. JLo has mentioned in the past that she liked the color green.
Recently, the celebrity couple had been spotted shopping for real estate. They appear to have settled down in an estate in Beverly Hills as JLo’s car was spotted outside. Moving trucks were also seen at both Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez’s homes, in Los Angeles.
Reports say that the unlisted property was bought for roughly $60 million. Celebrity Danny DeVito and Rhea Perlman reportedly lived in this home. Now, celebrity couple Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are expected to move in…finally as husband and wife, after hit and misses in their relationship from 2002.
