Celebrity Denise Richards and her husband Aaron Phypers narrowly survived after a man opened fire on their vehicle in a road rage incident. Phypers was driving their Ford F-150 Shelby pick-up truck and both of them were bound to the Popsicle Studio LA. The pair came to a halt to hunt for parking when a man behind them in a gold and maroon van became irritated with their driving as they were looking for their destination. The driver attempted to pull in front of them, which Aaron allowed. Nevertheless, he fired at the vehicle with a revolver, hitting the back of the driver’s seat.
The life-threatening incident took place on Monday and was first reported by TMZ. According to a source who spoke to People, Richards was extremely rattled and worried but nevertheless went to the studio and worked all day on what she was filming. Although the production firm made her feel secure, they did not file a police report. They now believe that people were wanting the car itself because it is quite valuable, the source said. The couple was unharmed, but the vehicle was hit. The Los Angeles Police Department says it is investigating the incident, which occurred at Slauson and Western Avenues.

According to People, Denise’s role that was being filmed at Popsicle Studio was only a one-day engagement for the actress. Angels Fallen: Warriors of Peace is a sequel to the independent horror film Angels Fallen that Richards was working on.
