Peloton has always been known for controversy in its advertising in order to get attention. Is bold advertising techniques working with the company’s new ad starring Christopher Meloni working out naked? Perhaps you might agree since the ad went viral on Twitter amassing over 465,000 views quite quickly in celebration of National Nude Day.
“Apparently, some people think the way I work out is strange. Honestly, I don’t get it.” “I don’t think using the Peloton app is strange at all. Sure, they’re famous for their amazing equipment. But the App gets me motivated to do lots of different workouts like yoga, cardio, meditation, and strength training,” said celebrity actor Christopher Meloni.

Meloni is known for his television roles as NYPD Detective Elliot Stabler on the NBC legal drama Law & Order Special Victims Unit for its first 12 seasons and its spin-off Law & Order- Organized Crime. Why did he leave Law and Order? Men’s Health reported in an interview with Meloni that he asked NBC for a more pay, but when network couldn’t give him the salary that he wanted, he tried to negotiate the number of the episodes he was in, which the creators of SVU also couldn’t approve either.
Christopher Meloni made the decision to strip down for the latest Peloton commercial, in which he advertises the program that offers him a variety of activities, on Thursday, July 14. Meloni is shown exercising while entirely naked in a vintage Peloton video that is currently going viral, with a blur box hiding his privates.
The caption for the video states, “We adore all our Members…even those who observe unusual holidays #NationalNudeDay.” For the humorous one-minute short, the handsome star worked out without any clothing on other than white tennis shoes and socks. To show off his toned physique, he engaged in a range of activities like dumbbell squats, bicycle kicks, bicep curls, yoga, and cardio kickboxing.
