On Saturday, Britney Spears posted a heartbroken message on social media about the loss of her first baby with fiancé Sam Asghari due to a miscarriage. About a month earlier, she had shared the news that she was pregnant with their first child. The celebrity pop sensation has been keen on having a baby after she was finally freed from a strict 13-year conservatorship under her father Jamie Spears.
Britney posted on Instagram that they (Sam and she) were deeply saddened to announce that they had lost their “miracle baby early in the pregnancy.” They described it as devastating but also said that they would continue trying to expand their family.
The 40-year old singer also said that they could have waited before announcing the news but they had been very excited and so they had shared the good news.
The celebrity couple also spoke of their love for each other as their “strength” and expressed gratitude for the support they had received. Both of them also asked for privacy for what they described as a “difficult moment.”
The message was signed by Britney Spears and Sam Asghari. The singer had been updating her fans on Instagram about her journey through the initial stages of pregnancy and finally had to share a post detailing their heartbreak as they lost their first child together.
Britney Spears and Sam Asghari met in 2016, when they worked together on the video of Slumber Party. They began dating and have been together, since. Despite a strict conservatorship, the celebrity model stood beside his celebrity singer-girlfriend. They got engaged in September 2021. Britney Spears was freed of her strict conservatorship in November 2021.
Britney had said that her father did not allow her to get married or to have a baby. She was forced to wear an IUD, to prevent her from getting pregnant. She has two children with ex Kevin Federline. Both the boys: Sean who is 16 years old and Jayden who is 15 years old, live with their father.
