Celebrity Brandi Glanville of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills has accused host and executive producer Andy Cohen of sexual harassment. The former cast member of the Bravo reality show sent a lengthy letter through her lawyer to NBCUniversal, Shed Media, and its parent Warner Bros Company detailing the sexual harassment through video. Andy Cohen posted an apology on social media and said that the video was meant as a joke.
Lawyer Brian Freedman, who is Brandi’s legal representative, said that Cohen, who was in an “inebriated” condition, sent her a video message that stated “his intention to sleep with another Bravo star that night while thinking of her and invited her to watch via Facetime.”
The letter also noted that model and reality star Brandi Glanville had felt “disgusted” and “trapped” by the video sent by Cohen.
After the letter went public, Andy Cohen posted an apology on social media and said it “was meant in jest, and Brandi’s response communicated that she was in on the joke.” He acknowledged that it was “totally inappropriate” and said, “I apologize.”
The letter from the lawyer also wanted “all electronic correspondence and communications between the listed parties in the letter along with all the audio and video from production on “Ultimate Girls Trip: Morocco” to be preserved.
Last month, former celebrity Caroline Manzo of the Real Housewives of New Jersey sued Bravo over an alleged incident while filming Season 4 of Peacock’s spinoff called Ultimate Girls Trip.
Caroline Manzo claims that she was kissed and more against her will by Brandi Glanville. Manzo has sued Bravo, stating that network employees allegedly plied the cast of Real Housewives with alcohol. They then encouraged or allowed sexual harassment among cast members. This was reportedly done to boost the show’s rating.
