Celebrity Billie Eilish seemingly confirmed to a popular website that she was attracted to women. The popular singer/entrepreneur mentioned that she thought that it was obvious and more when asked about the matter on the red carpet by an interviewer at the event. Following the confirmation, Billie Eilish reportedly lost several thousand followers over the weekend.
Celebrity Billie Eilish attended the annual Hitmakers brunch by Variety on December 2. When asked by an interviewer about whether she intended to come out, the singer said, “I kind of thought, ‘Wasn’t it obvious? I didn’t realize people didn’t know.”
The Bad Guy singer had already spoken about her attraction to women when she was interviewed by Variety in November. However, the confirmation this time around led to many of her followers unfollowing her this weekend.
Social media platform Social Blade reports stats on celebrity stars and their followers. The platform said that celebrity singer Billie Eilish lost 8,322 followers on Saturday. She lost tens of thousands more on Sunday, as Social Blade reported that 75,289 fans unfollowed her on that day.

After these stats were released, many web fans also came out in support of Billie Eilish. On Monday, the celebrity singer reportedly gained 64,779 followers. Her representative declined to comment on the matter.
Billie Eilish and her brother Finneas won Film Song of the Year at the Hitmakers event. The popular song What Was I Made For from the blockbuster film Barbie won the prize.
Celebrity Billie Eilish commented on social media, thanking Variety for her award, “for also outing me on a red carpet at 11 a.m. instead of talking about anything else that matters,” and more. However, many web fans pointed out that she had already mentioned her liking in a November Variety interview and that she had not been outed and basically said it herself.
