Celebrity model Amber Heard has dismissed her public relations agency and hired a new one after jurors in the defamation trial between her and ex-husband Johnny Depp heard she was diagnosed with two personality disorders.
On Monday, following days of negative news generated by dramatic court evidence last week, the 36-year-old actress was rumored to have cut relations with her current team. She is alleged to have left her PR business Precision Strategies in favor of Shane Communications, a consultancy firm based in Los Angeles, an exclusive from DailyMail.com said.
Dr. Shannon Curry, a clinical and forensic psychologist who testified for Depp, indicated she had borderline personality disorder (BPD) and histrionic personality disorder, prompting this judgment (HPD).
Relationship instability is a feature of both disorders, as is being overly theatrical, manipulative, and image-obsessed. Curry said in court on Thursday that Heard’s BPD and instability were caused by an underlying fear of abandonment.
Heard made the decision with the apparent aim of receiving more favorable coverage this week, when she is slated to speak on the stand, reports say.
After hearing Depp’s testimony last week, legions of fans rallied to his defense, with a petition demanding for his ex-wife to be removed from the upcoming superhero flick Aquaman 2 exceeding three million signatures on Monday. Following the horrifying domestic violence claims that have surfaced in court over the last few weeks, supporters of the actor are begging directors DC and Warner Bros. to remove the actress from the sequel.
In 2018, Heard co-starred opposite Jason Momoa and Nicole Kidman in the original film as Mera. Depp fans are now demanding that Heard be removed from Aquaman 2, which is set to be released in March of next year.
Critics say she should face the same fate as Depp, who was fired from his role as Captain Jack Sparrow in the sixth chapter of the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise after Heard claimed he had mistreated her domestically.

Depp is suing Heard for $50 million, alleging that she defamed him and destroyed his career in a 2018 Washington Post story in which she referred to herself as a “public figure symbolizing domestic abuse” without mentioning Depp. Heard is retaliating with a lawsuit for $100 million.
At the moment, the petition to get Amber Heard removed from the sequel to “Aquaman” is doing well.
According to film critic Grace Randolph, the 36-year-old actress gets very little screen time in next year’s follow-up to the 2018 DC picture. Heard, who co-stars with Jason Momoa as Aquaman in “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom,” will have “less than 10 minutes of screen time” in the sequel.

The announcement comes as a petition calling for Heard to be removed from the picture entirely continues to circulate online, with over 3 million signatures. If the petition, which is fast gaining signatures, reaches 4,500,000, it will become one of the most popular on Charge.org.
