Amber Heard meets in secret with   Johnny Depp to negotiate her debt from trial.  The defamation lawsuit between actor Johnny Depp and his ex-wife,  Amber Heard has come to an end after six weeks of trial, with Depp being awarded about $10 million. However, Heard is not happy with the decision and is trying to avoid paying the actor the full amount.

Heard’s lawyers are trying to get the Fairfax County Circuit Court to set aside the verdict that awarded Depp damages. She is hoping to convince Depp to reduce the amount she has to pay him.

Amber Heard has asked her lawyers to appeal the verdict in her defamation case against Johnny Depp. According to reports, Heard’s lawyers submitted a 43-page motion last week claiming that the verdict was not supported by the evidence and that Depp was awarded “excessive” damages.

Meeting in private to renegotiate a debt,  the Aquaman actor Amber Heard requested a reduction from the 10 million and 350 thousand dollars that the court awarded Pirates of the Caribbean actor Johnny Depp.

Amber Hears   is  trying to get the entire lawsuit dismissed due to  “potential improper juror service.”

Post-trial  motions filed this past  Friday,  Amber Heard’s attorneys said  the jury’s award of $10 million in compensatory damages and $5 million in punitive damages to Depp  is “excessive” and “indefensible.” They request the judge  to set aside the verdict and dismiss Depp’s lawsuit or give Amber Heard a new trial.
