Celebrity Olivia Newton John has not survived her long bout with breast cancer. She peacefully passed away in her home today at 73 years of age. Olivia Newton John became famous when she starred along with John Travolta in the movie Grease.
The actress is survived by her husband of of 14 years, John Easterling, and her daughter, Chloe Lattanzi. Husband, John Easterling said, “We ask that everyone please respect the family’s privacy during this very difficult time. Olivia has been a symbol of triumphs and hope for over 30 years sharing her journey with breast cancer. Her healing inspiration and pioneering experience with plant medicine continues with the Olivia Newton-John Foundation Fund, dedicated to researching plant medicine and cancer. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any donations be made in her memory to the @onjfoundation.”

The British-born and Australian-raised star dedicated a number of albums and concerts to raise funds for research and early detection of the disease, including the construction of a health centre named after her in her adopted home Melbourne.
Tributes to the celebrity actress have already began pouring in and were lead by John Travolta who shared a photo of Olivia on his Instagram page and wrote a touching message.
