TV released a statement to the effect, on Tuesday night. The Texan native did not report to work in Vancouver, Canada, on the deadline given to the cast to report at the sets of Superman & Lois.
On Tuesday night, Warner Bros released a statement that the actor Jordan Elsass had notified the studio that he would not be returning for the third season of Superman & Lois “due to personal reasons.” The actor played the role of Jonathan Kent who is the son of Clark Kent, played by Tyler Hoechlin and Lois Lane played by Elizabeth Tulloch. Alex Garfin plays the role of Jordan Kent, Jonathan Kent’s fraternal twin brother.
According to a report in Deadline, sources said that Elsass had been facing a few personal issues that were serious and some of these might relate to mental health. The producers of the series were aware of the matter.

The young actor is also known for his anti-vaccine stance, Early this year, the actor had reportedly posted questions about the efficacy of vaccines on social media. He quickly deleted the Instagram story. His vaccination status remains unknown. Canada has strict vaccination policies.
Jordan Elsass essayed the role of the athletic son of Clark and Lois, who is kind-hearted. He also played the role of Jon-El his counterpart. When Season 2 ended, there was a suggestion that Jonathan could get super powers.
This could be the reason why there is a recast for the role of Jonathan Kent, instead of sidelining or getting rid of the character. Although it’s speculation as of now, the role of Jonathan Kent could be expanded in Season 3 as well as in following seasons making it important for a new celebrity actor to fit in well with the role of Jonathan as Jordan Elsass had a fairly huge fan following. Season 3 of Superman & Lois is expected to be telecast in 2023.
