The actor Gary Busey is suspected of taking part in a hit-and-run accident in Malibu. A statement from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department claims that actor Gary Busey, 79, was driving a blue Volvo when she allegedly collided with another car on August 30 in the late afternoon. According to the news release, the driver identified Busey and asserted that “he refused to stop after the collision and refused to provide proof of registration and financial responsibility.”
The incident happened at the 23000 block of Pacific Coast Highway, adjacent to where the Malibu Pier is located.
The woman who claims Busey hit her car reported she followed him down the Pacific Coast Highway after the incident. She also recorded cell phone video of the incident after the fact as she yelled out at Busey and then proceeded to follow him into a parking lot.
The driver of the vehicle that Busey is accused of hitting from behind pursued and approached the “Busey, according to video acquired by TMZ that shows the scene of the alleged accident.
You hit my automobile, sir. As they pass the man on the roadway designated as Busey, the driver says, “I need your information. The motorist later had a conversation with Busey in a parking lot. Busey returns to his vehicle and declares that he has “Progressive insurance” before leaving without providing any other details.
