Celebrity actor Armie Hammer’s former partner, Effie Angelova, accused him in 2021 of “violently” raping her and assaulting her “mentally, emotionally, and sexually” in 2017. The specifics of the allegations are unclear. The district attorney is apparently currently looking into the situation.
During their four-year relationship, the Social Network star claimed through a lawyer that all of his interactions with Angelova and other companions were “completely consensual, discussed and agreed upon in advance, and mutually participatory.” Women have reportedly alleged that the actor has cannibalistic inclinations and BDSM fantasies.
The troubled actor reportedly stated that because of the response, he had considered suicide. In March 2021, Gloria Allred, a Los Angeles, presented her client Effie, who accused Hammer of sexually assaulting her. Europe-based Effie claimed in 2021 that she intermittently had an intimate and passionate relationship with Hammer from 2016 to 2020.
Effie said that she first connected with Hammer when she was 20 and “fell in love with him instantly.” She claimed Hammer would regularly put her to the test and push her limits. He allegedly grew “increasingly more violent” as time went on, according to Effie. She stated at the time’s news conference that “he abused me mentally, emotionally, and sexually.”

On April 24, 2017, in Los Angeles, Effie claimed that Hammer had raped her for more than four hours in a violent manner. She said that he violently treated her without her permission, including allegedly hitting her feet with a crop. She said she was unable to walk without pain for a week following the incident.
Allegations of sexual abuse by the great-grandson of oil tycoon Armand Hammer have recently returned to the news thanks to the Discovery+ docuseries House of Hammer, reports say.
The celebrity actor has not yet been charged and has denied any wrongdoing. He had stated through his attorney that the allegation was “outrageous” and with all his partners, it had always been “completely consensual, discussed and agreed upon in advance, and mutually participatory.”
