Today is Pi day. Pi is a mathematical constant and is measured as the ratio of a circle’s circumference to its diameter. It has a value of approximately 3.14 when rounding it. That is why it is celebrated on the 14th day of the 3rd month of each year.
Today is also the day when the annual ritual of changing of clocks occurs in the U.S. This happens twice a year on the second Sunday of March and the first Sunday of November. Albert Einstein was born on March 14 and Stephen Hawking died on the same day in 2018.
