Darius Garland recorded 27 points and eight assists and Ty Jerome scored 25 points off the bench to help the Cleveland Cavaliers post a 122-111 victory over the host Portland Trail Blazers on Tuesday night.

Evan Mobley added 21 points, 12 rebounds and four blocked shots as Cleveland (58-14) won its second straight game following a four-game slide.

Jarrett Allen had 14 points and eight rebounds, Sam Merrill also had 14 points and De’Andre Hunter tallied 11 points off the bench for the Cavaliers.

Donovan Clingan registered 18 points and 12 rebounds, Shaedon Sharpe also scored 18 points and reserve Scoot Henderson had 18 points, six assists and six rebounds for Portland (32-41), which lost its second straight game after four consecutive wins.

Deni Avdija contributed 17 points, 10 rebounds and six assists and reserve Matisse Thybulle had 15 points on five 3-pointers for the Trail Blazers, who fell 3 1/2 games out of the final play-in spot in the Western Conference.

Eastern Conference-leading Cleveland played without Donovan Mitchell (left groin).

The Cavaliers shot 54.5 percent from the field, including 12 of 27 from 3-point range. Jerome and Merrill each made four treys.

Toumani Camara had 13 points and three steals for Portland, which connected on 40 percent of its shots and was 17 of 52 from behind the arc. Anfernee Simons was 2-of-12 shooting while scoring just seven points to go with eight assists.

The Cavaliers led 100-92 after a three-point play by Mobley with 10:01 remaining.

The Trail Blazers responded with a 10-4 push and moved within 104-102 on Henderson’s 3-pointer with 7:38 left.

A short time later, Merrill knocked down a trey to start an 8-0 burst to increase Cleveland’s lead to 10. Garland converted back-to-back layups to culminate the run and make it 114-104.

Garland nailed a jumper to make it 120-108 with 3:03 left as the Cavaliers closed it out.

Portland trailed by eight at the break before pulling within 72-71 on Thybulle’s 3-pointer with 5:24 left in the third quarter.

Back-to-back baskets by Hunter capped a 9-3 run as Cleveland led 92-83 with just under a minute left in the period. It was 92-86 entering the final stanza before Simons drained a trey — his only one in 10 attempts — for the Trail Blazers.

Mobley and Garland scored 13 points apiece as the Cavaliers held a 60-52 halftime lead. Clingan scored 13 in the half for Portland.
