In Sunday’s other match, the Miami Heretics outlasted the Seattle Surge 3-2.

All 12 CDL teams are playing seven qualifying matches ahead of the Stage 3 Major, scheduled for May 16-19 in Toronto. Every team will advance to the double-elimination tournament, with the qualifying matches determining seeding.

The Thieves won the first two maps against the Breach, 250-123 on 6 Star Hardpoint and 6-5 on Highrise Search & Destroy. Boston replied with a 3-1 tally on Invasion Control, but Los Angeles clinched the match with a 250-193 victory on Rio Hardpoint.
